FARMING METHOD
Cage Culture
Cage culture is a method of fish farming where fish are raised in enclosures (cages or net pens) within a natural water body. This allows for controlled feeding, observation, and harvesting, making it a sustainable alternative to traditional open-water farming. We particularly use NORWEGIAN FISH CAGES, a specific type of cage used in aquaculture, often made of PVC or steel pipes with a net cage hung around them. They are known for their durability and productivity, making them a popular choice for milkfish farming.
Pen Structured/Fish Pen Culture
The fish pen is typically constructed with materials like woven bamboo, nylon nets, or other materials attached to poles staked into the bottom of the lake. The pen structure usually covers the entire water depth, from the surface down to the bottom, creating a secure enclosure for the fish.
